Your home away from home. Whether you’re here for the weekend or a week, we aim to provide campground facilities that make it easy for you to relax and enjoy your holiday.
We stock a variety of food, drinks, ice cream, milk, bread, ice, toiletries and camping essentials including footwear, beach towels and hats. Take home a memento, with our exclusive t-shirts and prints, designed by Greg Straight. We do not stock alcohol, cigarettes or newspapers.
We have barista coffee, iced coffee, slushies, ice cream and snacks.
Our inflatable jumping pillow is a family favorite for children and the young at heart. The children’s playground area is packed with fun including slides, playhouses, swings, monkey bars and a treehouse. Free for your children's use while you stay.

Great for all ages, our outdoor, giant chess set will be sure to keep you entertained! Our outdoor Table Tennis table is free for guests to use. Bats and balls available for hire.
Our Pétanque court is enjoyable for all the family. Boules are available for hire if you haven't brought your own.
The tranquil waters surrounding the Park are the perfect place to practice paddle boarding. The whole family can join in with a leisurely kayak in the estuary or a paddle down the Pākiri River. For the experienced surfer, you can head to the ocean with one of our surfboards. Hire rates from $10-$40 per hour, life jackets included. Adult supervision of children required.
Our TV and Theatre Room has a stage so the kids can put on shows and concerts. There’s also a big flatscreen TV with Freeview for rainy day entertainment.
Take a break from the weather and share some time playing team games indoors. Our games room includes table tennis and our ever-popular foosball for table soccer enthusiasts. Keep an eye on the little ones while relaxing on the couch. Feel free to borrow our books or add your own family-friendly book to our book exchange.
Because of our remote location, we operate our own water treatment plant. As a result our showers are metered and take a 50c coin, which lasts for 4 minutes. This helps conserve water and also reduces wait times at the busy times. BYO coins, or we have plenty of 50c coins to swap at the Park shop.
We have washing machines and dryers, both metered, $4 per load (only $2 coins accepted). Sachets of washing powder are available at the Park Shop. There is an ironing bench and an iron along with wash tubs in the laundry.
Clothes lines are provided as shown on the park map.
We have fun pedal carts for children to ride around the park and let off some steam. Available for hire by the hour with prices starting at $10. Helmets are provided.
The kitchen has modern facilities with microwave, gas hobs, fridge, freezer, toasters, instant boiled water (zip) and filtered cold water. We do not supply pots, pans, crockery, cutlery or utensils but have sets for hire. Free BBQ facilities are outside.
For those who wish to be connected, we offer paid WIFI throughout the whole park. Available to purchase at reception or on your device.
