Following are the terms and conditions for your stay at Pākiri Beach Holiday Park. Please read these carefully before your stay to maximise your enjoyment while you are our guest.
All tariffs and other prices shown, include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the rate of 15%, and are in New Zealand dollars (NZD). In the event of a change to the GST rate, our prices will change accordingly. We accept payments by Internet banking, Visa, and MasterCard. Credit card fees apply.
Bookings are a contract between Pākiri Beach Holiday Park Ltd, T/a Pākiri Beach Holiday Park and the person/s named on the booking. Bookings are not transferable to any other person without written approval from the park. This means that the person named on the reservation must occupy the camping site or accommodation unit for the duration of the contract and is responsible for all occupants and visitors of that camping site or accommodation unit for the duration of the booked stay with us.
Management reserves the right to alter booking terms and conditions from time to time without notice however, terms and conditions at the time of booking will apply. Changes will only apply to bookings made after they are listed on our website.

TariffsTariffs are quoted in NZD and include 15% GST. Tariffs may vary depending on demand, availability, and the booking channel you use. Due to our dynamic pricing strategy, rates may rise and fall without notice. Minimum stays will apply during peak periods.
Quoted tariffs may include charges for additional guests. Infants under 2 years of age stay free of charge. Child rates apply to children 2 – 17 years of age. Adult rates apply to those aged 18 years and older.
DepositsTo secure a booking a 50% deposit or full payment must be made at the time of booking. Any remaining balance must be paid at least 14 days prior to your arrival. Payments can be paid by Visa, Mastercard, or bank transfer. All credit card transactions include a transaction fee which is non-refundable.
Large Group, Functions, and Wedding booking deposits may vary depending on the type of booking. These terms will be included in your booking quote and confirmation.Excess cleaning fees
If your room/unit requires excessive cleaning for any reason including smoking of any kind in the room/unit, your credit card will be charged a minimum of $200.00.
Visitors Your day visitors are welcome at the park between 9am and 9:30pm. They must register at reception on arrival and pay the visitor fee of $10 per adult and $5 per child for the use of our facilities at the park during their stay. There is no parking available in the park for your day visitors.
Your visitors are welcome to stay overnight provided you do not exceed the maximum number of guests allowed in each room or site. Your overnight guests must register at reception and pay the appropriate overnight extra person rate for the unit or site you are occupying, less any day fee already paid. Overnight visitor parking may be provided if space is available.

Standard Cancellation Policy – Cancellation requests received 14 days or more before your scheduled arrival, a full credit of any amount you have paid can be held for up to 12 months for a future booking with us. If you prefer a refund, a 90% refund (less any bank fees) with a minimum of $50 for administration will apply.
Within 14 days up to 24 hours prior to arrival date - Cancellations requests made within this period, no refunds will apply. We can hold a 90% credit of any amount you have paid, which be held for up to 12 months for a future booking with us. This excludes any bank/booking fees.
Within 24 hours of arrival – Cancellation requests or booking amendments received within 24 hours of arrival or on day of arrival, no refunds shall apply a 50% credit will be held for up to 12 months.
After check -in – No refund or credits shall apply.
Refunds will not be given for cancellation of bookings made for Public Holidays and School Holidays. These include Christmas & New Year between 24 December & 5 January inclusive, Auckland Anniversary weekend, Waitangi, Easter, Matariki, Kings Birthday and Labour weekend. However, a 90% credit will be held for 12 months from date of booking.
Large Group, Functions and Wedding booking cancellation terms may vary depending on the time of booking and numbers attending. These terms will be included in your booking quote and confirmation.Cancellation policies for bookings made via a third-party booking agent are outlined on the agent’s booking site.Forced Cancellation If the park cancels your booking for any reason prior to arrival, a full credit of any payments made can be held for 12 months or if you prefer a 100% refund will be made.
If you have checked in and the park cancels your booking for any reason other than you (or any in your party), breaching our guidelines, terms and conditions, any credit or refund will be prorated for the remaining booked nights.
Credit Card Security A valid credit card in your name must be held against your account during your stay or a $200 cash bond. You will be liable to Pākiri Beach Holiday Park (PBHP) for the costs of remedying any damage you cause to your room (fair wear and tear excepted). PBHP reserves the right to recover all or part of such costs from your credit card or your cash bond. Should you and/or your guest(s) smoke in a room/unit or other building at the park, a cleaning fee shall apply at the rate of NZD$200 per room/unit.
Electrical & Gas Warrant of FitnessCaravans and campervans must have a current Electrical Warrant of Fitness (EWoF), visible on the caravan or campervan before plugging into our power supply. Gas certification must also be current if using gas while at the park.
Personal Information & Database When you make a reservation, your contact details will be held in our booking system and added to our communication database. You can unsubscribe from our communications at any time. We will not share your personal information with any third parties.
